Sony BMG Plans to Drop DRM

This might be the best news I’ve heard all year. DRM for digital music is a dead end for a business model that’s dying as it’s currently configured.  DRM free content is the only way that the music labels will take back control of their digital content from iTunes and the file sharing services.
