Delta has a broken frequent flier program

Got checked in an at the gate for my flight from Cincy to LA. Only one small aggrevation (other than my arrival time in LA means I’ll miss the Super Bowl kickoff) — Delta’s frequent flier system blows. Apparently I can’t get credit for my flights because my Skymiles account is under my middle name, but my ticket is booked using my full name. The broken Delta system won’t even let a gate agent overide the system. So basically Delta is so afraid of people gaming the system to get frequent flier credit the block legitimate uses. If there was any other airline that went direct from LAX to Cincy I’d never deal with tese bozos again.
