Easy payments or a strong advertising targeting system will make IPTV a more and more valuable content channel. The cable companies can’t get Canoe to work so it leaves the door open to companies like Boxee and Roku, and aggregators like Netflix, Hulu and Vevo. Layer in the live sports option (see my previous post) and there’s a new world of TV where I don’t need a cable company STB or their horrible customer service and service quality.
