what a difference a year makes

So many things have changed in the last twelve months. A year ago I was walking across Spain from France to the Atlantic Ocean. Social distance meant not seeing another peregrino on the path for a few hours. Quarantine was a quiet room at the end of a long, hot day on the trail.

I know someday we’ll all be outside, on our own paths again. Until then, stay safe and healthy everyone. Buen Camino!
