Sony BMG Finally Offering DRM-Free MP3s?

http://mashable.com/2007/12/21/sony-bmg-music-download-cards/

I read stuff like this and it’s just PAINFUL. Connect was on track to ship a DRM-less store. It would have been launched by now if the power-that-be hadn’t pulled the plug thinking none of the labels would get behind DRM free music. Yet here we are in December as SonyBMG is looking at DRM free and Napster is moving toward a client-less download experience.

It sucks to be right sometimes.
