This may seem like a simple press release, let another in a series of mindless missives from an old media giant. It is not. This is the beginning of the end for the cable companies. The only reason I continue (for now) to pay Time Warner cable big dollars per month is to get live sports. When I can get all the big University of Kentucky basketball games for free online at high quality there’s one less reason to keep TMC as anything but a bandwidth provider.
