Plain Vanilla Scores $2.4M Series A To Turn Its Multiplayer Quiz Games Into Something More

Congratulations to Plain Vanilla for their tenacity and raising this new round as they have seen something I’ve believed since leaving Screenlife: there’s a market opportunity for community and collaborative trivia games, especially with properties like movies that people are so passionate about.

It’s a real shame that Screenlife was unwilling to abandon the retail DVD board game market instead of focusing on online games. Screenlife published the first authorized Twilight game, and continued on with games based on Harry Potter, 30 Rock as well as genre games for horror, romance and comedy movies.
