Google announces $35 Chromecast, a small HDMI stick that shifts video from mobile to TV

This is the most interesting thing Google announced today. By bridging the gap not only between Android devices and the TV, but also for iOS devices and PCs in households that don’t have an Apple TV this is a game changer. If Google can implement an games SDK to enable using the device as a controller and the TV as output device the entire generation of Android game consoles are dead before they even hit the market.
