Someone in Tokyo has been working on this for years and will push this out to be demonstrated at CES if for no other reason but to justify the existence of their R&D group.
Sony used to build amazing, beautifully designed products. Now it just seems to look for excuses to use it’s chips and technology in products no matter how bad the user experience might be.
