The Average Car On The Road Is 11.5 Years Old

I think this is going to be a great opportunity for the growth of next generation connected cars. As these cars are upgraded and replaced more and more users will demand the same powerful services they have come to expect on their mobile devices and in their homes.

According to data compiled by the consulting firm IHS Automotive, cars that are registered and on the roads have an average age of 11.5 years, and there’s a record number of cars registered right now.
