While I get that for some users who are comfortable streaming all their content via their cell phones, even casting it to large screens via Chromecast or AppleTV, personally I can’t see giving up home broadband.
Even with a cheap data plan through ProjectFi I’d still be streaming a lot more video and blow through the GB limits each month pretty quickly. Now I should do the math to figure out if the cost of increasing the data limit to 10 GB or more on my AT&T cell plan and using that for all video streaming at home would be cheaper than the $30 month I pay for high speed gigabit service in downtown Seattle.
