This is a great move by Microsoft. I’ve been using Signal as my default SMS and chat client on Android for some time because of the open secure nature of the technology. Adding an additional security option validated by others instead of relying on closed internal security technology is another sign the “new Microsoft” is approaching consumer needs in ways it might not have done just a few years ago.
