This shot isn’t perfect. There’s blur. The focus is farther toward the back of the flower than I think I wanted at the time, probably caused by the razor thin depth of field shifting as I tried to shooting without a tripod. Technically I could probably do “better”.
I love it anyway.
One of the things I’m getting more comfortable with is that not everything in a photo needs to be perfect. Some images are all the more beautiful for their imperfections. “Perfect is the enemy of good” or so they say.
I hope you find something perfectly imperfect today.
