Point Robinson Lighthouse

Just a short ferry ride from Seattle and a drive around the island is the Point Robinson Lighthouse, beach and park. There are houses on the property, right on the beach, that you can rent. I’ve never done it, but it looks like a lovely escape from the city.

At least as long as you don’t mind photographers walking around trying to line up the perfect shot.
